I've been waiting since that day
I saw you motionless and hovering
No one believed
It's so absurd
Our eyes are stupid and the photos are blurred
Every living thing is lost
We're boring, brainless, hideous
Not worth saving
Not worth watching
Just turn our painted surface to glass
Have my body and the data it holds
Divide the organs and store them in cold
I volunteer for experiments
Make me useful if just for a moment
Let me watch, that's all I ask
Let me see your failing, dying gasp
You'd think their suffering would bring me pause
But it's not my home and it never was
I'd pay the price in human life just to sell them out
Watch them burn from above
I'm not proud of what we've done
We were born from and belong to the sun

It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit
